About
Eric Shoars holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University. Eric has been a contributing writer for magazines such as Radio Ink, Radio World, and Women’s Business Minnesota. During over a quarter century career in the radio industry, Eric has served as an on-air personality, assistant news director, program director, account executive, general manager, and educator. Eric served on the board of directors of the Minnesota Broadcasters Association. Glass ceilings are prevalent in the male-dominated radio industry so Eric has seen firsthand how these artificial barriers hold back women from achieving executive positions.
Years of research and interviews culminated with the book Women Under Glass – The Secret Nature of Glass Ceilings and the Steps to Overcome Them. Women Under Glass is available at Eric’s website – www.womenunderglass.com Follow him on Twitter as ericshoars
